The Golf Event of the Frankfurt Friends of ICA took place on a beautiful late summer afternoon at the Golfclub Lindenhof, in Bad Vilbel.
It was an enjoyable happening for children and parents. Parents took part in the Fun Golf Competition on the driving range while their children scored points during the competition, wrote letters that were sent out by balloons, took part in a painting competition, enjoyed face painting or the inflatable bounce house.
The parents, who could hit long balls, while sitting, or leaning on their knees, with different clubs, were able to fulfill difficult goals, such as golfing in a small swimming pool lying 200 meters away or between different bottles.
The parents' scores were added to those of their children and the winners received beautiful prizes.
The Committee of the Frankfurt Friends did a wonderful job which brought in donations from Friends and from new donors.
This event was made possible through the generous support of the Executive Board of the golf club, led by its President, Dr. Jehner and the Head of the club, Mr. Jonathan Wilson.
