New Mammography Device for Mayanei HaYeshua Medical Center - the ICA assisted in the purchase of a mammography device for the Diagnostic Imaging Institute of Mayanei HaYeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak, to enhance breast health awareness and increase the early detection rate among ultra-Orthodox women. The institute was established while taking into consideration the special needs of this population sector, and there has been a significant increase in the number of ultra-Orthodox women tested from year to year.
Assistance in the purchase of an ultra sound device for the New Breast Cancer Treatment Center at Hadassah Medical Center - the ICA assisted in the purchase of an ultra sound device for the New Breast Cancer Treatment Center at Hadassah Medical Center. The New Center assembles all interdisciplinary activity related to breast cancer, and is operated by radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, gynecologists, technicians, breast care nurses, and social workers. The Center provides patients with access to arrange of diverse services under one roof, from screening tests to complete diagnosis of breast diseases.
ICA purchased a PCR device for Assaf Harofe Hospital. The PCR enables the implementation of genetic testing.
ICA purchased a device for Photodynamic Treatments for solid tumors for the Oncology Lab at Assaf Harofeh Medical Center with the generosity of the Stuuczinski Fund. This innovative treatment is implemented to destroy abnormal cells in the body.
ICA also purchased a Vacuum-assisted Breast Biopsy Device for Hadassah Medical Center at Ein Karem. This device enables the implementation of US and MRI guided biopsies.
ICA recently assisted in equipping the oncology institute at Baruch Padeh Medical Center, Poriya in Tiberias. The center aims to save patients needless long-distance travel for oncology treatment.
Purchase of Ovary Freezing System for unmarried women, prior to chemotherapy treatment, for Soroka Medical Center, Beer Sheva. With the assistance of the Friends of the ICA London, chaired by Ms. Vered Aaron, the device was purchased and now enables women who contracted cancer to maintain their reproductive capacity after the completion of cancer treatments.

Assistance in purchasing the mammotome unit, which is adjunct to the Mammography Unit at the Rabin Medical Center, Golda Campus Hasharon. This equipment enables the implementation of a computer-guided biopsy which eliminates the need for hospitalization and general anesthesia and also eliminates any unnecessary breast scars.
Establishment of the unit containing the mammotome, and assistance with the purchase of the targeted ultrasound machine, were made possible thanks to the donations of the Friends of the Israel Cancer Association in London, headed by Mrs. Vered Aaron.
