On behalf of the Radiation Oncology Group (ROG) of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), I am writing to express our sincere appreciation for the funds allocated by the Israel Cancer Association to support the activity of the Israeli radiation oncologists participating in the ROG and also express my gratitude for supporting Dr. Orit Kaidar-Person the Chair of the Young Radiation Oncologists Group, who is involved in recruiting a new generation of Radiation Oncologists around Europe. The young members inspire the group with new studies and ideas that will be the backbone of the future clinical trials launched in the framework of the EORTC, all with the aim to improve patient care. We are looking forward to a new collaboration with young European national societies in the next ROG meetings in 2015 led by Orit.
Our Israeli colleagues, such as Dr. BarDeroma, are also actively involved in the ROG QA programs which are also important for high quality care of our patients.
