The ICA Kiryat Motzkin Branch, in collaboration with the ICA Rehabilitation and Welfare Department and Atid Motzkin School, organize a "Larger than Life" morning

13/11/2013

With the aim of contributing to the educational activity conducted in Kiryat Motzkin in the north, and in keeping with ICA's commendable endeavors for cancer patients and survivors in the community, ICA's local Kiryat Motzkin Branch, in collaboration with the ICA Rehabilitation and Welfare Department and Atid Motzkin School, initiated an activity to bring ICA's national "Look Good ....Feel Better" project into the community.

Israel is the only place in the world where the "Look Good...Feel Better" project operates within the community and not in hospitals.

Mr. Motti Dagan, who heads the fundraising campaign in Motzkin, whose tireless efforts were fruitful after a year, succeeded for the first time in recruiting students enrolled in the Atid Kiryat Motzkin School to participate in the "Door Knock" Fundraising Campaign; these students asked to reinforce their commitment to ICA activity and gave of their time to organize a fun-filled morning for 27 female cancer patients and survivors.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the school's educational staff for providing the students with this chance, for their willingness to cooperate, and mainly for guiding the students who did this significant work and with a big smile.

The students enrolled in the hair design program provided the participants with meticulous beauty services including hair design and applying make-up which put a big smile on the participants' faces, in a very pleasant atmosphere.

The students, enrolled in the baking program, surprised the participants with refreshments prepared especially for the event, much to everyone's delight.
