Research Fellowship Approved for Funding

The Israel Cancer Association plays a key role in supporting cancer research. Each year the ICA awards dozens of fellowships and grants to physicians at medical centers and to researchers at universities and research institutes all over the country.

The ICA supports basic, clinical and epidemiological research as well as studies dealing with the psychosocial aspects of cancer and coping patterns of cancer patients and their families. The Research Committee, led by Prof. Eli Pikarsky from the Hebrew University, comprises the finest clinical researchers from the research and medical institutions in Israel. The Committee is coordinated by Lily Biller-Lev, manager of Committees and Projects at the ICA.
