Each year, ICA invests in many resources in the fight against cancer all over the country and continuously cares for the sick and supports the healthy, attends to young and elderly people, to men and women of all sectors, social classes and religions all over the country. ICA's means are derived exclusively from public contributions with no assistance from government funds; hence the crucial importance of donations.
ICA works in collaboration with the health authorities but is financially independent. This independence enables ICA to operate according to strictly professional criteria, while maintaining a global national point of view and vision. It can also ascertain that the administrative expenses constitute less than 10% of its budget, that all donations received are transferred in full (no overhead is taken), and that hospitals are not allowed to deduct any overhead costs from contributions transferred to them by ICA.
