Give Kids the World

The ICA funds a week-long vacation for families of children with advanced-stage cancer at the Children's Village in Orlando, Florida

In this ICA-initiated project in memory of the late Miri Sheetrit, families who have a child with advanced-stage cancer are invited for a week to the Give Kids the World resort village in Orlando FL.

The families spend a week in villas equipped with all the amenities, in order to make their stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The children enjoy free admission to all of facilities and rides as well as additional attractions.
The families receive a car for their use and are provided with an English speaking escort.
Upon their return to Israel, the families' positive feedback further reinforces the desire to continue making an effort to put a smile on these children's faces and allow them to make one of their dreams come true.
For some, this is the last experience together with the entire family.
