A getting acquainted meeting and morning of fun over coffee and cake will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the "Strong Together" Support Center in the ICA, "Beit Mati", in memory of the late Mathilde Recanati, located at 7 Revivim Street in Givatayim, starting at 9.00.
The Support Center is a unique community center that offers emotional and social support for individuals coping with cancer and their families.
What does this meeting have in store?
9.00-9.30: Gathering, coffee and cake.
9.30-10.30: Lecture about Frederika "Friedl" Dicker-Brandeis, Bauhaus and art teacher in the Theresienstadt (Terezin) Ghetto, delivered by Dr. Margalit Schlein, historian and Holocaust researcher.
10.30-11.15:Feldenkreis, led by instructor M. Naomi Nof.
The above meeting and all Support Center activities are open to cancer patients, survivors and their families and admission is free.
