Friday, March 1
Participation fee proceeds are dedicated
to Israel Cancer Association activity
The Israel Cancer Association, in conjunction with the Jerusalem Municipality and courtesy of Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, invites you to take part in the sporting event of the year: the International Jerusalem Marathon.
This is a huge athletic happening combining sports activity with philanthropy - in the form of donations to the Israel Cancer Association.
One of the routes of the event is the amateur non-competitive route, extending 4.2 km and open to the public at large.
In the Popular Race you can either run or walk.
This is your chance to partake in a unique experience, as individuals and as families, to walk and run in a huge sports happening along Jerusalem's scenic landscapes and sites, while also contributing to the fight against cancer.
The race will begin at a starting point between the Israel Museum and the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), ending at the Hebrew University Givat Ram Campus and back.
The participation fees on this route, amounting to 60 NIS per participant, constitute a donation to the Israel Cancer Association - a contribution that has the potential to save lives.
