Shenkar College of Engineering, Design and Art students designed three curiosity-piquing products:
Lunch boxes that stand out - for children's sandwiches, with an emphasis on environment/an environmental emphasis:
The box contains: a surprise, a code that may be scanned by a smartphone and links to a computer game or a humorous clip... Better finish that sandwich and you'll discover the surprise at the bottom of the box.
"What's in/what's missing in the fridge?":
Too lazy to prepare a grocery list every week? Shenkar students devised a fridge magnet containing 10 small magnets with icons of basic products.... Now it's easy to fill in the blanks in the fridge!
A Bookmark with a Pencil:
A metal bookmark with a pencil holder at the end enables you to read and write at the same time.
The reverse side of the package has a code that can be scanned by a smartphone and links to the message - "thank you for your donation"
Dr. Hanan Gazit, of the Software Engineering Dept., and Gili Golan Sahar of the jewelry Design Department led this spellbinding workshop.
All proceeds from the sales of these unique products were dedicated to Israel Cancer Association's potentially life-saving activity.
