A fundraising event marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month was held at the Berkovich Community Center in Nazareth Illit on Saturday night, November, 1, 2014. All proceeds will go to the fight against cancer and will be used to help enhance the wellbeing of patients, survivors and their families.
This fashion show featured female survivors as models, to expose the audience to brave women who are genuine heroines, having fought and overcome the battle, and who serve as a role model and embody hope for others coping with the disease.
The event took place under the auspices of the city's Mayor and Chairman of the Israel Cancer Association Nazareth Illit Branch, Mr. Alex Gadalkin.
Four main entities promoted this noteworthy initiative alongside the Israel Cancer Association, under a very tight schedule, against the backdrop of the Door Knock Fundraising Campaign 2014. The entities who participated in this initiative:
The Municipality of Nazareth Illit
Youth Center - Nazareth Illit
Network of the city's Community Centers
Small Business Forum of Nazareth
