Hair loss is a common side effect for people undergoing cancer treatments. In the cold winter months, the ICA would like to help thousands of cancer patients warm up as they cope with the disease and its treatments. With this end in mind, we are currently launching a national campaign to knit wool hats and scarves and distribute them to cancer patients and survivors.
Do you know how to knit?
We would be happy if you could take part in this project by knitting a hat or scarf for cancer patients, and ICA volunteers will distribute them in oncology departments across Israel.
We would also be delighted to receive donations in the form of wool cloth and send them to knitters participating in the project.
Please be a part of this heartwarming endeavor that will help keep patients warm.
To send hats, scarves and wool donations, please enter the following link and contact your nearest ICA branch.
