For their annual gala event, the Frankfurt Friends of ICA invited their friends and sponsors to Nelson Muellers's "Cotton Club".
180 guests enjoyed a 4 course menu created by celebrity chef Nelson Mueller, as well as an overwhelming show featuring a dance performance, acrobatics and music. While the big band was playing soul, blues, swing and jazz titles, the artists swirled around the stage, built human pyramids up to the ceiling, danced, turned somersaults on the trampoline and dangled from ropes. The atmosphere was like in Dixieland circa early 20th century.
The Board of the Frankfurt Friends of ICA, Mrs. Christel Zandberg, Mrs. Petra Kaffeesieder, Mrs. Nina Blodinger, Mrs. Ania Hadda, Mrs. Jutta Josepovici, Dr. Anat Blodinger and the new Chairwoman, Mrs. Orna Knoch, was fully represented.
Mrs. Petra Kaffeesieder officially handed over her torch to the incoming Chairwoman, Mrs. Orna Knoch; Mrs. Kaffeesieder's great commitment as Chairwoman over the last 14 years was highly appreciated and received a big round of applause.
The evening was a great success and the funds raised were earmarked for the "Hope for Life" Project.
