One of the chapters of the book is dedicated to the Israel Cancer Association support group "Young Adults Embarking on Life" which helped him cope with the disease.

This group is geared towards 18-30 year old young singles who developed cancer in the transition from adolescence to adulthood (on the threshold of an independent life) and recovered, or have nearly completed their treatments.  Support group meetings are held free of charge.
