The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), the world's oldest and largest professional association related to cancer research, chose to honor Mrs. Miri Ziv, ICA Director General, by awarding her with the 2015 AACR Award for Distinguished Public Service and Global Impact in Cancer Advocacy.
The award was presented to Miri Ziv for her lifelong contribution to the public's health and wellbeing, as well as her global achievements in furthering the fight against cancer.
His Excellency, Mr. Reuven Rivlin, President of the State of Israel, sent a letter to Miri to congratulate her on receiving this noteworthy award.
