Show your solidarity with cancer patients by committing to shave your head and to share your #NOHAIRSELFIE on World Cancer Day - Shave Your Head - A Fun Way to Show Your Support for a Serious Cause
This year, for the first time ever, the ICA is about to launch the NOHAIRSELFIE# Project - On World Cancer Day, marked on February 4, 2016, show your support for a serious cause and shave your head!
The Israel Cancer Association has joined the international #NOHAIRSELFIE project which calls on the general public to shave their head, share their #NOHAIRSELFIE and show their support!
There are currently more than 200,000 cancer patients and survivors in Israel. Over 28,000 patients are diagnosed with cancer each year, 450 of whom are children.
Hair loss is one of the many side effects, with which cancer patients are forced to contend during their difficult treatments.
The NOHAIRSELFIE is a collaborative project between the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
This year you have the opportunity to support cancer patients in a unique way - How do we do it?
Build a personal pledge page, set an objective for an app shave or a real shave. Maybe you like a clean shave, or maybe you'll want a fuzzy look or even a stenciling touch. Ask your friends and family to join and sponsor your effort to raise funds for cancer.
Set an objective for a real shave (or a very short cut) or an app shave.
Build a personal pledge (donation) page, set a fundraising target, encourage your friends and family to join and sponsor your effort to raise funds for the war on cancer, to help promote research and beat cancer diseases.
