Israel Cancer Association – Enveloping Cancer Patients in Warmth – Hat and Scarf Knitting Project

14/12/2016

Hair lows is one of the most common side effects experienced by cancer patients receiving treatments.

During the cold winter months, the ICA would like to help thousands of cancer patients keep warm as they cope with the disease and its treatments.

We are currently launching this national campaign for the third year in a row, calling upon individuals who knit or crochet to make hats and scarves so that they may distributed to cancer patients and survivors.

Thousands of hats and scarves were distributed in previous campaigns, keeping patients warm and adding color to their lives.

Do you know how to knit/crochet?

We'd be happy if you took part in this project by knitting a hat or scarf for patients, to be distributed by ICA volunteers at oncology departments across Israel.

We'd also be happy to receive contributions in the form of wool so that we can provide the knitters taking part in the project with the necessary material.

Please be a part of this project that will help patients keep warm and will also warm the hearts of all those involved.
