The event took place, thanks to Mr. Roland Kuffler's generosity for the past years, at the "Seehaus im Englischen Garten", situated in Munich's famous English Garden, where a Mediterranean buffet was offered to the guests (among whom some local film and TV celebrities).
The actor Thorsten Münchhof read passages of Mr. Abi Ofarim's autobiographical book "Licht und Schatten" who then started to play Rock with his band and his son Tal. An outstanding guitarist from Israel, named Ittay, also joined the party with his guitar.
A movie, produced by Ms. Christa Volke, about the work of the Israel Cancer Association and on the National Treatment Protocol for Pediatric Leukemia between Germany and Israel, was also projected.
Mrs. Anita Kaminski then held a speech on the important work the Munich Friends of the Israel Cancer Association have been doing these past 30 years and also told the guests that the committee she has been working with was celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The event was attended by 130 guests and turned out to be a big success.
